Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2024

I was one of the finalists of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2024. My entry was a pair of Puffins I photographed in 2015, when I visited the Farne Islands off the coast of Northumberland/UK for the first time. Although I didn't win, it was a great honour to make it this far in the competition. Congratulations to all the winners!

My take on the scene was always, that the puffin on the right tries to sneak away and is caught in the act by the other puffin. I have used this image in a wedding card for a good friend of mine, with the caption "Don't chicken out now".
